| SPEAKER STATION: Larry Collins Battalion Chief, USAR Task Force 103 LA County FD, CA  Larry Collins is a 28-year member of LACoFD; a captain, USAR specialist and paramedic assigned to USAR Task Force 103, which responds to technical rescues and multi-alarm fires. He is a Search Team Manager for the LACoFD's FEMA/OFDA US&R Task Force for domestic and international response, and he serves as an US&R Specialist on the "Red" FEMA US&R Incident Support Team, with deployments to the Oklahoma City bombing, the 9-11 Pentagon collapse, Hurricanes Frances, Ivan, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, and Wilma, and several National Security Events. He is author of many articles in Fire Engineering since 1989, and wrote the textbook series titled Technical Rescue Operations, published by Pennwell. (www.technicalrescueops.com)
